2025 Kia Mohave Price, Dimensions, Release Date – It may not sound familiar to many people, but the 2025 Kia Mohave is a well-known model in the Kia portfolio. It was a time when it was also offered to North America, though for only a few years. It was a huge body-on-frame automobile, but is more popularly referred to as Borrego in many other markets. It is also accessible in a variety of regions of the world. And now it seems like we might have this model within North America once again. But the 2025 Kia Mohave is unique this time around. It would be in North America, it would appear in the form of an SUV.
This makes sense. In particular the ,Korean automaker hasn’t had a presence in the market for pickups that has been expanding over the past few years. We believe that the model will be a mid-sized pickup that would compete in the same market as the Toyota Tacoma and Chevy Colorado. The SUV was revamped in the year 2019 and looks amazing in a lot of ways. The 2025 version of the Kia Mohave will definitely have a platform that is not only borrowed however, but the entire suspension system as well.
In addition, we can find a lot to be common in terms of aesthetics. Particularly the front of the vehicle, as certain renderings show the same design. Naturally, the remaining body will come with a standard pickup configuration. For now, it’s not clear whether the model we’re seeing is coming in a crew-cab layout or not. We could also see single or extended cab models.
The details about the cab designs are not clear. We could see different configurations however, 2025’s Kia Mohave may come only as a cab-style pickup instead. For instance more, and more companies are implementing this strategy, as modern pickups don’t have to be considered to be bare-boned work mules any more.
For the interior aesthetics and similar features we think that the SUV model will continue to serve as an the model. It’s certainly a great idea, given that the Borrego appears pretty sophisticated on the inside, especially after the redesign in 2019. The materials are beautiful, and the quality of construction is excellent, and the number of technology is ample. All in all, it is likely to be among the nicer cabins available within the class.
2025 Kia Mohave Engine
In terms of the engine that powers the SUV, it’s currently only available with a diesel engine, and there’s no doubt the Korean manufacturer will need to design a new gasoline engine for 2025’s Kia Mohave pickup. It is likely to be an existing 3.8-liter V6 engine that powers the Telluride mid-sized SUVs with a maximum output of about 300 horsepower. However, the diesel engine may also be offered within the U.S. with the familiar 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel. This engine produces approximately 400 horsepower and 250 pounds-feet of torque. That appears to be sufficient to propel this truck with ease.
Whichever engine you choose, the new pickup will be equipped with an eight-speed automated transmission, along with regular rear-wheel drive as well as an AWD configuration.
2025 Kia Mohave Release Date and Price
As we mentioned earlier, we have yet to hear from authorities to confirm the model. However, there are unofficial reports suggesting that the new model could be available early next year. If that happens, the base version will cost about 30.000 dollars.
