It just didn’t seem right to have a four-pot under the hood of the American classic, but more understanding aficionados eventually came to the conclusion that the EcoBoost merited more praise than it received. For this, the 2024 Mustang, a new 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine is available to go along with edgier aesthetics, a computerized cockpit modeled after fighter planes, and several other performance improvements. The all-new 2024 Mustang appears to be in the lead among traditionally powered muscle cars for a few more years while the current Dodge Challenger ages and will soon transition to electric power, and the future of the Chevrolet Camaro is uncertain.

This is possibly the most notable feature of a more chiseled appearance, instantly recognizable as a Mustang due to a design that draws inspiration from ancestors.The Blue Oval was prudent to stay away from too much controversy since a new 2024 Mustang appearance that was too different or couldn’t be connected to the pony badge by the average observer would’ve been seen as a disgrace.
The tri-bar LED headlights have a familiar lighting signature but have been slightly altered compared to the previous generation. In the front, the low, horizontal brow gives the sense of breadth. Every model in the new 2024 Mustang series has a distinctive front end, so the ordinary model’s grille apertures are narrower than those of the GT, which has greater power and is the subject of a separate study. The improvements also include new front splitters and a hood with unique vents.
The taillights, which have three lighting bars, have been redesigned for the back. The new model sports a smoother body-color piece between the taillights instead of the previous model’s bulky black panel. Additionally, the back displays clearly enlarged haunches. The flashy spoiler of the GT is absent from the basic 2024 Mustang, but the twin tailpipes, one on either side of the body, add a hint of ferocity.
The official 2024 Mustang specs state that it will be 55 inches tall and 189.4 inches long overall, making it longer and taller than the previous generation’s “Stang Coupe.” Ford repeatedly stressed the new model’s overall breadth, yet it still measures 75.4 inches wide, the same as the outgoing model (excluding the mirrors). The new Mustang should be quite close to the present model’s dimensions of 188.5 inches in length and 54.3 inches in height. The wheelbase is 107 inches long.

We came up with five valid reasons why the Mustang EcoBoost was superior to the V8 a few years ago, in our opinion. Before you dismiss this underappreciated power source, at the very least, give it a test drive. The new 2.3-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost engine powers the new 2024 Mustang. Ford hasn’t yet disclosed outputs, but the current EcoBoost engine produces 350 lb-ft of torque and 310 horsepower. There is also a current high-performance model with 330 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque.
According to reports, the EcoBoost engine won’t be compatible with the six-speed manual transmission, leaving only a ten-speed automatic to transmit power to the rear wheels. Ford’s stated specifications, however, imply that both will be available. Independent testing has shown that the current Mustang EcoBoost can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about five seconds; thus, if the next one has more power, that time may drop into the fours.
2024 Mustang Release Date And Price
There is still time to purchase a current-generation Mustang because the replacement won’t be available for some time. The 2024 Mustang will be on sale in the USA in the summer of 2023, which is the scheduled release date.
The cost of the 2024 Mustang hasn’t been disclosed yet, as is typical for a new release. We’d be thrilled if the Blue Oval managed to keep it under the psychological $30,000 threshold, but it’ll probably cost a little more than the current Mustang EcoBoost, which starts at $27,470 MSRP.
